WHO WE ARE

DEAR HEARTS is the culmination of years of friendship between Stella and Donna that began with a cross-country mutual admiration of each other's spirits, outfits and music taste and has grown into an unbreakable sisterhood and strong business partnership. For over a decade, we have explored the US via highway together, went to hundreds of rock shows and fought only once (a heated 2-minute debate over who picks the best olives). During our time of calling so many places home (Austin, Memphis, NYC, LA & finally, Durham), we had a vision for a venture that provides far more than tangible goods.  We began as a space that fostered a warm feeling of community, excitement and home.

DEAR HEARTS is us, evolving and always going with our gut. First opened in late May 2013 in our renovated 1966 Shasta camper, then as a storefront at 618 Foster St. and now focusing solely on our styling adventures, the business combines our passions for art, tight bros, music, fashion and travel. Whether working on a personal closet consult or spending months creating a unique yet functional backstage home-away-from home atmosphere for artists and music festivals, we bring 100% heart, relentless thoroughness, absolute thoughtfulness and pure zany positivity to our projects.
